Getting Ready to Practice Sketching

Just saw an email from Nuomituan today with some tips. Turns out there are quests for Gathering Jobs in the The Crystalline Mean too, but I have no idea where to pick them up. Sharing one of Nuomituan’s amazing works. I’d love to practice drawing too—if I had a sketchbook, I’d totally draw my way through all of Eorzea!

Ocean Fishing

I had some free time in the afternoon and decided to go Ocean Fishing. By chance, I ran into Enatsu, who joined me for the trip. When we returned, she mentioned that her Fishing Job had already reached level 100. Congratulations to her! I’ll need to keep working hard too.

However, since I’ve been focusing on Weaver and Carpenter job quests recently, my inventory is almost always full. After catching just a few fish, I had to go to the NPC behind me to clear out some space in my bag.

Master of Kneeling

Nuomituan and I trained diligently together at the Crystalline Mean’s workshop in the Crystarium, honing our crafting skills.

It's really funny to think back on it now. Back then, I was kneeling in the Firmament with Nuomituan, and today, we're kneeling together in the Crystalline Mean.

Nuomituan told me there was a free Fantasia up for grabs. I said I already grabbed it yesterday and even used it. I asked her, "Can you tell what's different about me?" She said she couldn’t see it. Honestly, I only changed my Patron Deity to Thaliak, the God of Knowledge and also the mentor of Byregot, the God of the Hand. So, I believe I can achieve better results in any exams and have fewer failures in crafting(well, that’s what I’m hoping for, anyway).

Nuomituan and I were in The Firmament in Ishgard. She gave me a lot of help.

Rising Through the Ranks in the Maelstrom

On 13 FEB 2025
I led a small squad from the Maelstrom and successfully leveled up, so I’m thrilled to share that my rank has been promoted to Second Storm Lieutenant. So happy!

Honestly, I didn’t do much. I do nothing but feed Hasawi (my Chocobo) in my backyard every day, then come here to assign training tasks to the squad. We train three times a day, and before I knew it, the whole squad helped me rank up.

A Wedding and Guidance for Advancement

The guide I found online has been very helpful in guiding me to level up all my crafting jobs to level 70, though I haven’t quite reached that level yet. However, I have no idea what to do to progress from level 70 to 80.

One day, I received a message from Nuomituan saying that a good friend was getting married. I looked up how to attend the wedding, and it seemed to be held at the cathedral in the East Shroud. So, I headed there. When I arrived at the cathedral entrance, it seemed the ceremony had already ended, and the bride, groom, and guests were all leaving. I wasn’t sure what to wear for the occasion, but it turned out that the outfit I usually wear as pajamas was actually a bridesmaid’s dress, judging by its name. Since I didn’t have a better option, I left home with mixed feelings, feeling like I was attending a wedding in my sleepwear. Later, I saw a Lalafell couple standing in front of the cathedral, gazing deeply into each other’s eyes. I couldn’t help but feel envious of them. The cathedral doors seemed to be closed, so I couldn’t see what it looked like inside.

At the cathedral entrance, I ran into Enatsu and Nuomituan, who were also attending the wedding. We chatted briefly, and then Nuomituan said she had something to do and left. Enatsu and I returned to the seaside wall near my den to enjoy the view.

During those days, I was trying to figure out how to proceed with leveling my crafting classes. While I was pondering this, Enatsu kept me company by the sea and told me that I could take on the Dwarf Quests, visit the Firmament in the Crystarium, and do quests in Eulmore. I took careful notes and planned to visit these locations later.

My Daily Grind

"Don’t just stand there, come over and help out!"

"This fish isn’t even from Eorzea, by the way."

"Picking cotton underwater while a shark stares me down. No big deal."

Can’t win? Just run. No shame.

Mining and missing every single node. Classic.

Cloudy day, bad lighting. Found some fireflies to cut leather by. Problem solved.

Moved to a brighter spot, and now a scorpion’s eyeing me. Great.

"Can I just hand in one item and level up? Is that too much to ask?"

"The market’s out of stock? Seriously, what now?"

Me and my farm animals after starving all day. We’re a mood.

Finally turned in those military supplies to the Maelstrom. Mission accomplished.

Passed out exhausted but....Super Happy. Worth it!

Treasure Trio: Maps, Portals, and Mystery Loot

Yesterday, Enatsu, Nuomituan, and I went treasure hunting again. We had a blast! It was my first time buying a treasure map from the market, and I even learned how to decipher the treasure locations.

We got pretty lucky overall—portals popped up a few times, and after we went in and opened the doors, there were moments when we thought we picked the wrong one, but then the music shifted, and bam! We successfully unlocked the door to the next area.

At one point, several waves of monsters showed up, and the pace was super intense. I was so nervous that I broke out in a cold sweat. Enatsu seemed to activate some kind of skill that managed to hold off all the damage and prevent HP from dropping for a few seconds. It was at that moment I realized how important it is to boost my own attack power to take down monsters quickly.

I scored a bunch of materials, though I have no idea what they’re used for. Oh, and I got two music scrolls too, but no clue what those are for either. Still, it was a ton of fun!
Even though I’ve already maxed out my level, I still need to practice my drawing skills more.

Love is the Fruit Born of Bravery!

Love is a complex and profound emotional experience, often involving deep emotional attachment, intimate bonds, and a profound sense of care for another person. It is not merely a romantic feeling but also encompasses trust, respect, understanding, and support. Love can manifest in various forms, such as familial love, friendship, and romantic love.

So, the Healer keeps the Tank alive with a respectful view because the Healer loves the Tank.

The Tank pulls the mobs because they trust the DPS to burn them down fast, and the Tank loves the DPS.

The DPS understands the Tank to hold aggro so the mobs don’t slap them, and the DPS loves the Tank. Conclusion?

The Tank and DPS are the ones who truly love each other. What about the Healer?

The Healer’s just simping.

Ummmm...

Crafting Success: Leveling Up with Friends in Eorzea

With the help of Nuomituan and Enatsu, I grew quickly and became a crafter with all crafting classes at level 61! I’m super happy! According to the guide, once you reach level 61, you can go to Kogane Dori in Kugane to exchange for a set of crafting gear. It’s so beautiful, and I instantly felt that all those days kneeling in the Firmament crafting were worth it. So, I stood in Kogane Dori to take a photo to commemorate the moment.

I don’t want to trouble my friends, and at the same time, to level up my gathering classes, I’ve made a few trips to the Diadem.

I visited Enatsu’s place for the first time in the evening. The house is way bigger than my tiny crib—super classy with that black-and-white vibe, and they even got a legit bar counter! I didn’t snap any pics though, ‘cause no permission. Respect, you know? 😎 But you can imagine that Elegant vibes. ✨

A Gunbreaker who can also do Carpenter work—pretty impressive, right?

From the Veil of Night to the Break of Dawn

["The air was so frigid that every exhale formed puffs of visible white vapor."]

Every day is spent crafting collectibles. Sometimes when materials run short, I head to the Diadem (someone call it η©Ίε²›,KongDao) to gather, and without realizing it, my mining and botany skills have improved.

There are some ore outside the Diadem  that I have to collect myself, but as for those beast hides, I really don't want to go hunting, so I just buy them from the marketboard.

Then, I bought the wrong leather, and I was so upset that I nearly fainted in the market.

Enatsu provided many of the materials I required, significantly reducing both cost and time investment.

Practicing in The Firmament

On a day when snowflakes drift from the sky, I am diligently cutting leather. According to the guide, crafting 33 pieces of each collectible should suffice to level up to 41. Having acquired the skills to make my own work clothes, gloves, and shoes, I've crafted high-quality equipment for myself. Thus, bolstered by these enhanced workwear, I occasionally manage to produce a few high-quality collectibles, which in turn yield a higher amount of experience points. Sometimes, this even allows some of my jobs of master in hand to reach level 42.

I have undertaken another quest as a Paladin and have also learned two new skills. In such a frigid place, I suddenly realized that I was dressed rather scantily, having forgotten to warm myself.

My good friend, Rising Load(δΈŠε‡θ΄Ÿθ·), always seems to know where I am. I wonder if there is a secret spy organization in Eorzea, or if she possesses some sort of special ability.

Empty House

My dream is to have a cozy room, but I'm afraid I would not know how to work on it πŸ˜… I'm such a noob. πŸ˜‘

Being a Crafting Apprentice

Why did this guy watch me with a smile? I'm in the Goldsmiths Guild.

A friend told me that it's best to practice these crafting skills together because many of the required equipment pieces are shared. Otherwise, your inventory space might run out during the crafting process. This made a lot of sense. So, I started travelling around the three main states (Ul'dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa), registering in each guild, and levelling each crafting class to level 20.

"After reaching level 20, good friends should come to The Firmament and kneel together!" (This refers to crafting items for the Restoration of The Firmament in Ishgard, then submitting them to gain experience and level up.)

The levelling process can be done by purchasing materials from the crafting guilds and completing tasks on the crafting log to gain experience and level up.

Indeed, plans change faster than expected. Originally, I only intended to level up my culinary skills to make a cup of hot chocolate, but it eventually evolved into a situation where I needed to develop all my crafting skills comprehensively.

Hope to Make a Cup of Hot Chocolate.

I have decided to become a chef, capable of creating many delicious dishes. The first step is to sign up and register as a chef. Then, I purchase ingredients from the counter in the restaurant kitchen and proceed to process and upgrade them. Along the way, several dishes require fish. I tried fishing off the deck within the city walls but had no luck. Then I remembered there's a fish shop in the city and went there to try my luck. Sure enough, most of the fish listed in the cooking guide were available for purchase. I'm not sure when I'll reach the maximum level, but currently, the highest level achievable is level 100.

Cosmos Mission Log: Where's My Gundam?!

On 26 JUN 2025 Today was my first time joining the new Cosmos Mission. When the bunny driver dropped me off at the base in the moon rover...
