Tonight, I queued up for the daily duty roulette as a Pictomancer and ended up in the final boss of patch 6.0, "The Endsinger." I've only fought her once before when I pass through the main process of the journey, so I wasn't super familiar with the mechanics. I managed to keep up by following the group and dodging the attacks, but then the boss unleashed her ultimate move, and we all wiped.
Someone in the group called out the Paladin, asking why he doesn't use the LB (Limit Break) to tank the boss's big attack. Turns out, the Paladin had no idea that was a thing. Apparently, in this fight, you have to use the Tank LB to survive that move. So we gave it another shot, and this time, we cleared it without any issues.
It got me thinking though—if I were the Paladin in the future, how would I even know to do that in future runs? Suddenly, I felt like being the Tank comes with a ton of pressure. Like, you’re the one everyone’s counting on to lead the way, and if you mess up, it’s a wipe. Big respect for all the Tanks out there!
