Today was my first time joining the new Cosmos Mission. When the bunny driver dropped me off at the base in the moon rover, the place was already packed—so many people gathering and crafting stuff.
It’s not just about gathering and crafting, though. Sometimes there’s an emergency alert, and everyone rushes to pilot these robots (crafters here casually call them "Gundams"—no idea why) or bulldozers to clear weird lunar fungi or minerals. But you gotta win the lottery for pilot rights. If you don’t, you can still join as a helper.
My mentor stuck around with me too. I checked the credit points per task, and… yeah, looks like I'll have to grind here daily to afford some outfits and emotes. But the stuff I really want—the spacesuit and the Gundam—are locked behind a lottery wheel. You need 1,000 points for one spin, and each crafting Mission only gives about 50. The drop rates are brutal too. Who knows when I’ll get lucky?
I totally forgot how to craft properly. Everyone's saying you need macros and food buffs to make anything decent. Luckily, the suit Enatsu made for me lets me crank out B-rank items even without any food buff.
Did three spins today—still no Gundam. Time to log off. My mentor, who’d been AFK this whole time, suddenly got up and said she is heading back to the construction shift.
