My Mentor Stayed With Me Until Midnight

Afternoon: Hung out in our FC house yard with Enatsu and my mentor. When my mentor found out I was working a shift at the RP venue later, she said she’d swing by to check out the place.

Evening: The venue was in the Lavender Beds (on another server). Clocked in on time—since it was an idol-themed cafe, most of us were either dancing on the stage in the main hall or entertaining guests.

Sure enough, my mentor showed up at the entrance. I was about to greet her when a guest walked in. She quickly sent me a /tell, warning me that she’d met that player before and they might act rude, so I should be careful.

Later, a bunch of staff and guests went into a private room to hang out. Things got wild—two staff members who lost a game had to act out a scene from some anime, complete with dramatic duel lines. No clue about the lore, but it was hilarious.

Next round, the losers had to fight in the Wolves' Den. Everyone headed out, and my mentor /tell’d me asking how it was going, saying she’d wait for me in the main hall.

At the Wolves' Den, we dueled in pairs. I was stuck as WHM against a SAM, so I just ran around healing until I ate dirt.

By the time we wrapped up, it was super late. Our shift ended, and everyone started dipping (leaving the party and logging off). I quick-ported back to the Lavender Beds to hop servers… and then realized I’d totally forgotten my mentor was still waiting at the venue.

Teleported back like “OH CRAP,” then met her at the aetheryte. We finally headed home together.
